Hilltin is an inclusive and sustainable made in Nigeria womenswear brand founded in Nigeria and headquartered in Warri, Nigeria.

Hilltin was created in the light of the beauty that is birthed from diversity and oneness of the human race, with a beautiful culmination of different cultures, celebrating the freedom that allows you to find or even create your own unique style.

In designing our collections, we draw inspiration from interesting and inspiring stories of people, various cultures, places, nature and names of people around the world. Our design process takes one through a journey of self-discovery and self-love. Our prints are passionately hand printed and designed to be unique and second to none. It is our goal to make every woman feel beautiful and stand out in every piece of garment we design.

As a sustainable brand, we ensure zero waste in all our productions by upcycling left over cut out fabrics to create new garments and accessories that can be of commercial value and art to promote employment among artisans and preserve our environment.

Founder / Creative Director

Imuetinyan is an Award winning fashion designer and a self taught visual artist. Prior to her role at Hilltin, her love for fashion made her pursue a career in Fashion Design besides her first degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Enugu State University of Science and Technology where she came out with a very good CGPA. She ventured into sales of women’s clothes, by traveling to Europe to select the clothes herself to display at her boutique at Ikota Shopping Complex, Lekki.  After a stint with sales of women’s clothes at her boutique, she became dissatisfied with selling other brands not representing the true African woman’s classy and elegant style, which led her to take a course in Fashion design at the prestigious International Fashion Academy Paris, France. Upon her arrival in Nigeria in 2019, she set up HILLTIN FASHION DESIGN AND ARTS LTD. 

She was among the 120 female entrepreneurs selected from Nigeria for the 2020 Academy for Women Entrepreneurs AWE, a U.S government initiative that supports women entrepreneurs around the world. She is presently a member of the Executive Council of the AWE Alumnae Association where she serves as an Ex-Officio. She is also an alumni of the International Visitors Leadership Program IVLP, a U.S based leadership program. Imuetinyan won an IVLP impact award in 2022, this award comes with a grant for her humanitarian project in the slum area of a city in Nigeria. She is also a sub-group leader of the Garments,Textiles and Accessories Group of the Borderless Trade Network (BTN). 

Under her leadership, Hilltin has become an international brand. In 2021, Hilltin exhibited for the very first time on international grounds at the 2nd edition of the  Intra African Trade Fair(IATF) which took place in Durban, South Africa.

She is happily married with three lovely children.
